Feeling VERY grateful this morning as I fly to Lisbon

Speaking out in view of her 128,000 followers, the 39-year-old was feeling “VERY grateful” to be returning to her day job.

The mother-of-two has been a regular fixture on the Channel 4 show since joining the team in 2012.

The small screen favourite was snapped exiting her house to fly to Lisbon in Portugal.

The country is on the UK’s “green” list for unrestricted travel, but anyone arriving will need to take a negative PCR test before departure.

Wearing her blonde tresses down and straight, Laura looked chic for her flight out of the UK.

With a black leather jacket draped over her shoulder, the TV star opted for a red, leopard print jumpuit.

The comfy all-in-one featured long sleeves, collar and a tie at the waist.

She teamed her ensemble with black shoes and natural makeup.

The host was seen posing outside her abode while her personalised suitcase remained at her feet.

Laura shared a lengthy caption alongside the photo, writing: “Feeling VERY grateful this morning as I fly to Lisbon (a first) to start filming again with @aplaceinthesunofficial.

“I’ll be helping a lovely couple find a home on the Costa da Caparica and I can’t wait to meet them later for our House Hunter drinks!”

She went on to show her gratitude to viewers, after a difficult year for the team behind the daytime favourite.

Laura stated: “Thank you to everyone who has continued to support the show not just over the last 12 months but since it began.

“It wouldn’t be as successful as it is without YOU!”

“Also a BIG shoutout to the amazing production team and @channel4 who are making this happen,” she wrote.

The star clarified that strict rules would be in place during her time out of the country, to keep everyone safe.

She added: “Whilst we travel and film, we are of course following all COVID Safety protocols and rules.

“I hope as travel slowly starts to open up over the next few months, you will be able to enjoy a trip abroad yourself.

“Have a lovely Sunday! Laura x #lauraloves #travel #travelsafe #property #style #jumpsuit @dancing_leopard.”

A Place In The Sun continues tomorrow at 4pm on Channel 4.
