Ashley Benson Lands Role In ‘Lapham Rising’ Film Adaptation

Ashley Benson has booked a co-starring role in the upcoming film Lapham Rising!

The 29-year-old actress is set to join Bobby Cannavale, Stockard Channing, and Catherine Parker in the film adaptation of the book of the same name by Roger Rosenblatt, Deadline reports.

Here’s a synopsis: Harry March (Frank Langella), a retired writer whose life starts to unravel when a multimillionaire begins building a mansion across from his quiet island home in the Hamptons. Up until now, he has lived peacefully with his talking dog, Hector, a born-again Evangelical and unapologetic capitalist. To Harry, the gargantuan mansion represents the fetid and corrupt excess that has ruined modern civilization.

Lapham Rising is set to begin production this summer in Minnesota.
