Mists are having a big moment in the skincare world.
Think of them as skincare boosters that you can use on top of make-up or on bare skin throughout the day, whenever you need a reviving spritz.
They've been around for years but have made a bit of a come back as of late, and now have formulations to keep your skin looking lovely while you're on the go.
Some give an instant hit of hydration while others help plump, smooth skin, boost glowiness and brighten your base.
We've had our Notebook beauty team testing out five brand new formulas that promise to be worth the space in your handbags.
Here's what they thought…
It’s Skin Power10 Formula Gf Moisture Mist, £18.99
Contributing beauty editor Laura says: ‘This covers the whole face in a super-fine mist in just one motion – no need to rub it in.
'It felt refreshing, and added a noticeable glow to my make-up that, come mid- afternoon, was starting to look dry and patchy.’
Barry M Calming Rose Serum Mist, £5.99
Beauty editor Octavia says: ‘Hyaluronic acid and collagen in a very nice, non-sticky spray mist.
'It goes on evenly, requires very little rubbing in (just a gentle pat, really) and smells gloriously of roses.
'I liked using it, although I didn’t find it especially calming on redness.’
Revolution Skin Hyaluronic Essence Spray, £6
Beauty writer Zoe says: ‘Enriched with hyaluronic acid and grapefruit to help tight skin feel bouncy again – which it did quite nicely.
'The mist is thicker than most and almost serum-like on the skin.
'It had a good plumping effect and gave me a lovely, dewy look.’
Disciple Juicy Mist, £15
Fashion editor Michelle says: ‘This smells very nice and orangey.
'The mist particles sprayed on evenly, but they took a while to dry, so I dabbed it in. Very refreshing and not sticky.
'It’s meant to revive lacklustre skin and it did give me a lovely sheen and took away redness, so I’ll keep using it.’
Lancôme Rose Milk Mist, £25
