Cardi B suggests Donald Trump could be faking coronavirus

Cardi B has risked outrage with her thoughts on President Donald Trump being diagnosed with coronavirus, after stating she believes there’s ‘something fishy’ about it.

Trump, 74, was flown to military hospital Walter Reed Medical Center near Washington DC on Friday after testing positive for Covid-19.

It’s believed he contracted the potentially fatal disease after coming into close contact with his White House advisor Hope Hicks who also tested positive. First Lady Melania Trump is now battling with Covid too alongside several other White House members of staff.

Last night, a video was released of Trump delivering an address from his hospital suite, reassuring the nation that he was ‘feeling much better’.

However, Cardi B is unconvinced by it all and believes it could be damage control after Trump’s disastrous debate against Joe Biden last week.

‘I don’t want to annoy y’all with my POVs but I don’t know,’ Cardi began.

The WAP rapper continued: ‘It’s not far-fetched for the president to have coronavirus because coronavirus is really easy to catch. Some have passed away and some just get it like a regular cold, they lose they sense of taste and smell.

‘Something is funny. It just feels like all this press and publicity that they doing around it, they recording and filming with the president, he’s taking the helicopter to go to the hospital. All of these people that’s under the administration, they coming out like, “Oh, I have corona too”.’

Cardi, 27, went on to claim that several musicians have caught coronavirus in recent months but ‘didn’t publicise it’, adding that she has visited hospitals twice recently for migraines ‘and nobody knew’.

Sharing her theory on Trump, she said in the Instagram video: ‘I just feel like with Joe Biden pulling down all the negative… because he’s feeling bad for Trump ‘cause Trump’s got coronavirus.

‘I don’t know if it’s like a technique from Republicans.’

Cardi went on: ‘It’s just funny to me. It’s not sitting right in my spirit. I just feel like he has to do something because that white supremacy thing that he said with the Proud Boys when he said “stand by”… it’s like he received so much bad press because of that, that now he’s just like let’s shift the focus.

‘That might be one of the reasons, the other one is maybe it’s they’re trying to show, “I had the coronavirus but it’s just a cold. It doesn’t matter if you caught it because most of my people caught it and look, we got rid of it”.’

The rapper then explained that while Covid-19 might not cause significant impact to everyone’s health, it can still be fatal for so many.

So far, more than 200,000 people have died from coronavirus in the US which has become one of the worst-affected countries.

‘That’s why when celebrities were coming out saying, “I’ve got coronavirus, I’m stuck home, it’s not a big deal, I just have a little cough”. That was aggravating me because that makes people think it’s like a common cold and it’s not,’ Cardi said.

‘Coronavirus if you have a weak immune system it f***ing eats up your respiratory, your lungs and s**t, so I don’t know. Something fishy about this.’
