Coleen Rooney bleaches Kai and Klays hair after they begged for the ‘Phil Foden’

It was the haircut that men all around England wanted during the Euros, and now Coleen Rooney has admitted she has giving in to letting her eldest sons have “Phil Foden hair”.

Revealing Kai, 11, and Klay, eight, now have shorter, bleach blond hair, Coleen shared a series of snaps of her boys proudly showing off their new ‘dos.

“Gave in to the Phil Foden hair!! All tournament they have asked for it, So once the school holidays started I said why not!!” wrote Coleen.

While Kai can be seen beaming and holding a football in the shot, his younger brother Klay is sporting a Manchester United shirt and holding two thumbs up.

Their dad Wayne Rooney played for Manchester for 13 years between 2004 and 2017, making 393 appearances for the club.

Many of Coleen’s 1.2 million followers were hugw fans of the boys’ new look, with one writing of Kai: “He suits it”.

“Beautiful,” wrote another of Klay, with a third adding: “Aww suits them. Hairdressers must be loving Foden at the moment.

"Even some of the England cricket team have dyed their hair. @philFoden the summer trend setter!”

Before the Euro 2020 final, Manchester City star Phil said if England won the tournament then the whole team had vowed to dye their hair blond.

Coleen, 35, took Kai and Klay, as well as their younger brother Kit, five, to watch England’s match against Croatia in the Euros.

Joined by her footballer husband Wayne, also 35, the family were spotting enjoying the game during a sunny day at Wembley.

Coleen and Wayne’s youngest son Cass, three, appeared to have stayed at home.

TV personality Coleen wore a gorgeous gingham design short-sleeved shirt, which featured a wide collar and V-neckline.

Coleen teamed the outfit with a pair of shorts, enabling her to show off her tanned legs as she soaked up the sun.

The brunette beauty styled her mane up into a low bun for the outing and accessorised with several bracelets and rings, a chic black handbag, black face mask and a pair of matching sunglasses.


Wayne appeared in his element as he sat down with his boys and pointed towards the football pitch and appeared to explain the goings on to them.

The couple recently celebrated 13 years of marriage together, with both posting gushing tributes to each other on social media.

"13 years married!! Happy Anniversary @waynerooney xxx," wrote Coleen alongside a snap of the pair enjoying the sunshine outside the Southbank Centre in London.
