A Place in the Sun: Danni Menzies wears striking pink dress
Danni Menzies took to social media to deny she is on holiday with her boyfriend after getting stuck in Majorca, Spain, due to an air traffic failure.
The former A Place In The Sun presenter was forced to prolong her holiday after airport “carnage” cancelled her flight home.
On Wednesday, Danni, 34, shared snaps on the beach with her male friend passing the time playing Monopoly.
On her Instagram Story, she quipped: “Everyone thinks you’re on [holiday] with your [boyfriend] but actually you’re just stranded with your bestie that wants a new Bumble pic.”
Danni was also joined on the sun-soaked trip with her heavily pregnant friend and, to add to their stress, have to get home for a wedding this Friday.

The Scottish star wrote on Twitter on Tuesday: “Flight cancelled today! After sitting on a plane for five hours…. Airport carnage in Mallorca.
“Any idea on how I can get home ASAP with my heavily pregnant friend before Thursday as our best friend is getting married Friday!!! HELP! @British_Airways @Iberia.”
She then wrote: “And now we’re stranded for the foreseeable.”
In a new update on Thursday, Danni shared that she was trying to fly to Amsterdam in a bid to get home.

Sharing a clip from the airport, she pleaded: “One of the flights is delayed to Amsterdam. Please don’t delay mine!”
She then added in another video from the gate: “We’re supposed to start boarding now, and the plane is still not here.”
“First of two flights. Flight in Amsterdam is the last today. Wedding tomorrow lunchtime in the Midlands,” she wrote in the caption.
Danni is one of the many holidaymakers who have been stuck in Spain following a combination of technical difficulties with air traffic control in the UK and a violent storm in the region.
Paddy McGuinness’s ex-wife Christine has also been stuck abroad with their three children: Felicity, Leo and Penelope.
Citing network failures in UK airports, the Real Housewives of Cheshire star wrote on Instagram earlier this week: “No idea when we can get a flight home but I feel very lucky, we found a place to stay and I get extra time to make more memories with my babies.
“I trust in the universe. I had jobs booked all week, a million things to do at home getting ready to prep for ‘back to school’ but… we were meant to stay longer, we have more memories to make, time with my babies is priceless.”
