Debbie McGee, 60, who appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017, took to the radio airwaves to discuss her guests in the studio. The former magician’s assistant chatted to her co-star Julian Perkins before she made the cheeky mishap.
Speaking to listeners, Debbie said she was “prattling” on the show but then questioned if she was allowed to say the word.
“Anyway everybody, I was going to say that I’m prattling on but you can’t say that on the radio. Can I?” she quizzed. “Oh, I’ve just said it.”
Her co-star Julian quizzed: “Well, what do you want to say instead?”
Debbie replied: “Well I wanted to say we’re rambling on,” before she quickly moved onto the topic at hand.

The BBC Radio Berkshire host said: “What I’m getting at is am I allowed to say that we’ve got two extra guests in the studio?
“I’ve got some bodyguards. I’ve got two policemen in uniform in my studio this morning with very smiley faces.”
She then proceeded to make a cheeky admission that the officers had come to “check her out”.
Debbie remarked: “I haven’t done anything wrong yet but I think they’re coming to be nosy to be honest.
“They’re checking it all out aren’t you? I was going to say to checking me out but no. Checking my studio out before they go.”
Her colleague Julian laughed off Debbie’s straightforward comments.
Her on-air blunder comes after the former magician’s assistant made the surprising revelation when discussing her late husband Paul Daniels.
The former couple had visited Hong Kong when they were approached by a young woman.

Debbie recalled: “Whenever I hear about karate and things like that, the Asian arts, I think about Bruce Lee, the film star. He was famous for it all.
“My late husband Paul and I were in Hong Kong and we were being shown around a botanical garden by an official.
“And we bumped into another group of people who were also being shown around by an official. And there was this beautiful girl – probably in her late twenties – and she came over to introduce herself to us.”
Debbie chuckled: “[The woman] said, ‘I was the girl who was in bed with Bruce Lee when he died.’ I couldn’t resist telling that story.”

It seemingly appeared the mystery woman was known by a listener of the show who messaged the details onto Debbie.
She said: “I’ve just had a text from a local lad and he told me the name of the girl that I met in Hong Kong. And her name was Betty Ting-Pei.
“She was one of the most famous film stars in Asia. I will give the name. Bill Mundy [the caller] said he used to take her out.”
Debbie McGee on BBC Radio Berkshire airs on Sundays at 9am.
