Kate Ferdinand shared her nerves with her fans online as she attended her first baby class with her son Cree.

The new mum, 29, who has been candid about her struggles adjusting to motherhood, shared her fears while parked outside the baby class, admitting she was “scared to go in.”

The former TOWIE star, who welcomed her first child with her husband Rio Ferdinand in December, told fans how she had a night of restless sleep after her son and skipped her gym session for the day because she was so tired.

Taking to Instagram, the new mum said: “Guys, I jinxed myself! I jinxed myself last night and I’m so angry because I should never have put it on social media ‘hope he sleeps through the night’.

“He’s normally such a good boy, he sleeps really well but I think he’s having a sleep regression. So I’m exhausted."

The anxious mum continued: “I don’t know how, I’ve managed to put makeup on, got the big kids up for school and ended up going back to sleep when Cree went to sleep, but I’m up, I’m here, I’m not moaning (I sort of am!).

“I’m waiting at our first baby class and I’m really nervous, I’m scared to go in! Does anyone else feel like this?

“He’s asleep in the back, is he going to wake for the class? Do I wake him for the class? Are people going to be nice to me? Does anyone else feel like this?

“Because since Covid, obviously you could normally bring someone. But I’m gonna go in guys, I just hope I’m not the only one that feels nervous before you do anything like this. Wish me luck!”

Despite not having the support of her husband Rio, the brave mum went along to the class anyway and reported back to her fans on Instagram after the pair enjoyed their afternoon together.

She shared a message on her stories that read: “I plucked up the courage and went in … it was absolutely fine, everyone was lovely & Cree loved it.

“It’s easy to say now … but I don’t know why I was so worried about it.

“For anyone who is feeling nervous about a class, I know it’s hard but once your in there it’s all ok, please be brave and go in. I don’t think you will regret it.”

The blonde bombshell has been open about her struggles as a new parent since she gave birth to Cree and found a great comfort in the support of her fans and fellow mums who also battled the same issues she went through.

This comes after Kate admitted she “didn’t miss” her son on her “fabulous” first night out with friends after she welcomed Cree to their family.

Speaking to The Mirror, she said she “felt like herself again” on her girl’s trip while her newborn stayed at home with his doting father.

Kate shared: “It was fabulous, I don’t know if I'm meant to say that. Everyone’s like, I’ve seen lots of people who have been like, ‘Oh my God, you must have missed the baby so much.’

“I was like, no. I had a lovely time, it was really, really good.”
