Love Island down under as Jessie Wynter and Will Young arrive in Australia
Love Island stars Jessie Wynter and Will Young have landed in Australia, with the loved-up pair spotted in the arrivals terminal at Sydney's international airport.
The pair were all smiles as Will pushed a number of large suitcases packed for their trip, putting on a show for the cameras by sticking out his tongue and holding up rocker hand-signs.
Both Jessie and Will prioritised comfort in their airport outfits, matching in black as Will wore a puffer jacket and UGG slippers and Jessie wore flared black leggings and a long sleeve top paired with white trainers and a black cap.
Since falling for each other earlier this year during the Winter Love Island series, farmer Will, 23, and Aussie Jessie, 26, have been going from strength to strength and are now about to take the next step in their relationship as Will meets all of Jessie’s loved ones down under.
In a previous conversationwith OK!, Jessie revealed her Aussie loved ones "absolutely adore" Will, who's been initiating phone calls with her brothers and making a real effort to connect.
"It’s so crazy. I’m from Australia, he’s from the UK, but we just still can’t believe how perfectly matched we are," Jessie added.
"When you look at our family and our family dynamics, we’re very similar people coming from very similar areas, even though it’s on the other side of the world."
Will surprised Jessie by booking his flights to Australia, after being unsure if he would be able to make it.
Jessie took to Instagram to share the exciting news and announced to her fans that they are both going to Australia, as her visa in the UK comes to an end.
The Love Island star posted an adorable snap of the duo along with an emotional clip. In the clip, Will is seen beaming with excitement as Jessie looks at a piece of paper and says: “What is this? You’re coming to Sydney?”, before Will replies: “Yeah, yeah”.
She captioned the post: “WE’RE GOING TO AUSTRALIA !! I have absolutely fallen in love with the UK and this man, however it’s been almost 6 months since I’ve been home.
“I’m so grateful to have felt so welcome and loved here in the UK and am so sad to be leaving buttt, I’m so excited to finally be going home to my friends and family AND be able to show @farmer_will_ my home !!”
The Aussie continued: “I was absolutely devastated at the thought of leaving Will here in the UK because of his work commitments butttt, he surprised me with his flight booking and HE’S COMING WITH ME See ya soon Australia.”
The happy surprise comes after Jessie said in a recent Q&A that she wasn’t “100 per cent” sure if Will would be able to go to Australia with her.
