Introducing the newest member of the royal family.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry publicly debuted their newborn son on Wednesday, two days after the Duchess of Sussex, 37, gave birth to the couple’s first child.
“It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing, I have the best guys in the world so I’m really happy,” Meghan told reporters, adding “He has the sweetest temperament, he’s really calm. It’s been a special couple of days.”
“We’re just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy,” proud dad Harry, 34, beamed.
The newborn’s name has not yet been announced.
Baby Sussex is seventh in line to the throne, behind Harry. After Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles is first followed by his older son, Prince William, and William’s three children with wife Kate Middleton: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
“We’re both absolutely thrilled, we’re so grateful to all the love and support from everybody out there, it’s been amazing so we just wanted to share this with everybody,” Harry said earlier this week.
The young royal was born in the early hours of Monday morning, weighing in at 7 pounds and 3 ounces.
