Stacey Solomon has shared her decision to take a break from social media to spend quality time with her boyfriend Joe Swash and their son Rex.

The 30 year old Loose Women star revealed her emotion at her one year old son growing up “quickly” as she made the announcement to her 3.5million followers.

The mum of three, who has sons Leighton and Zachary from previous relationships, shared a touching selfie of her with boyfriend Joe, 38, son Rex and their dog Theo.

In the snap, taken on Stacey and Joe’s sofa, Stacey is smiling widely as she looks up at the camera.

Joe is also grinning while Rex appears to be blowing a raspberry while the family dog looks over at him.

Writing on top of the adorable family image, Stacey announced: “It’s Saturday so It’s my phone in a drawer day…

“I’m going to spend the day playing with these two and breathing in every second.”

She emotionally added: “Rex looks like such a big boy today and it’s reminding me of how quickly the time goes and I don’t want it to go by and miss a thing…” followed by a white heart emoji.

Signing off, Stacey then added: “Whatever you do today i hope your day is wonderful…” she then attached another white heart emoji before ending her message with: “Love you all”.

It is the second time this week Stacey, who recently gushed over her man in a sweet post, has taken time away from sharing her day to day activities with her Instagram fans.

Earlier this week Stacey posted a snap of her holding her baby son’s hand and announced in writing on top: “From my favourite book I read to the boys "A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly. You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth, but if you have good thoughts it will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely." The 30 year old then explained that she received one too many horrible messages making comments about her personality and appearance.

She said: “Having a strange morning this morning. Some days I just wake up on the wrong side of my brain…

“I always do my best to ignore nastyness because deep down I feel sorry for people who want to hurts others or try to bring them down… I feel awful for how sad they must be deep down. [sic]

“But some days it's not so easy to ignore and the nastyness gets in. All part of being human I suppose. [sic]

Stacey, who recently shared a rare photo of her partner Joe Swash's son Harry for Father's Day, continued: “Will be saying to myself on repeat today… we rise by lifting others & dulling someone elses sparkle will NEVER brighten their own. [sic]

“The truth of what's on the inside will always show on the outside,” with another white heart emoji.
