Strictlys Michelle Visage says husband hates it as she explains time apart
Michelle Visage has admitted that despite only seeing her husband for “two months at a time,” she believes that long-distance works for their marriage.
The former Strictly Come Dancing star spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk on the red carpet at The Sun’s Who Cares Wins Awards 2023.
The American singer spends weeks at a time filming in the United Kingdom whilst her husband David Case stays in Los Angeles, but she is confident that the distance helps their relationship “work”.
“We’ve been married for 26 years,” Michelle mused. “Communication and independent time with me being here.
“Honestly, he hates it. But I think your time on your own – for us – works.”

When asked if David ever comes to London, she replied: “Sometimes, but not really. He stays at home.”
However, Michelle was adamant that they don’t stay apart for half of the year.
“It’s on and off, though. It’s not all six months. So, it’s like two months at a time. He’ll come for a week or two,” she revealed.
The RuPaul’s Drag Race star, who grew up in New Jersey, met David when she was singing in the girl band Seduction.
The couple tied the knot in 1997 and they have two daughters, Lillie and Lola.
