Summer Walker has released a steamy new video featuring Usher for “Come Thru,” a song off her debut album Over It.
The visual, produced by London on da Track and directed by Lacey Duke at Atlanta’s 285 Flea Market, features motorcycles, fog machines and a slew of other nighttime Lynchian imagery.
The video starts with Walker riding pillion on a motorcycle, gripping her man and singing. She is then seen sitting on the hood of a car, clad in black latex pants and a matching corset, and confessing her inability to shake the thought of her love interest.
Usher is then seen crooning inside a deserted Flea Mart and wooing another woman. The visual features male dancers, clad in all-white and puffer vests, showing off some of Usher’s famous moves.
“Come Thru” samples Usher’s 1997 hit “You Make Me Wanna…”, and Jermaine Dupri, who co-wrote that song, does a cameo in the visual.
Walker recently won the Soul Train Music Award for Best New Artist. The singer is set to perform at the 2020 Coachella Festival in April.
