Usain Bolt looks cool in a blue co-ord as he tries not to get wet while making his way from his boat to the beach during Ibiza trip

Usain Bolt is enjoying a trip to Ibiza this week and was making the most of his holiday on Wednesday.

The Jamaican runner, 36, looked cool in a blue co-ord while making his way from his boat to the beach as he tried to not get his clothes wet.

He was dressed perfectly for the balmy temperatures in a linen shirt and matching shorts while out in the sunshine.

The athlete completed his look with a white cap and opted for cool dark shades as he strutted along the sand.

Usain was joined by a group of male pals on the trip as they were seen helping him from the boat onto dry land.

Out and about: Usain Bolt is enjoying a trip to Ibiza this week and was making the most of his holiday on Wednesday

The man: He was dressed perfectly for the balmy temperatures in a linen shirt and matching shorts while out in the sunshine

He accessorised his look with a collection of gold necklaces and looked in great spirits on the trip.

It comes after Usain spoke candidly about building up mental health resilience, while joking his three children ‘have a long way to go’ before they realise their dad’s worldwide fame.

The eight-time Olympic gold medallist shares daughter Olympia, two, and twin sons, Saint and Thunder, 12 months, with his girlfriend Kasi Bennett, 32.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, he said: ‘I just learnt from a young age that you will win some, you’ll lose some but if you work hard, you’ll be fine.

‘For me, I’ve always worked hard. As long as you work hard, you shouldn’t worry about anything. If you don’t win, you go back with your coach and figure out what you did wrong, work on that, and go and try again.’

While he’s known globally as the fastest man alive, he quipped that his brood of three will be completely unaware of his successes for a good while.

He said: ‘They’re young. My daughter’s just two and my boys are one so they have a long way to go before they know or understand who their dad is.’

Having found a friend in Tom Grennan during practice for Soccer Aid last week, Usain, who turned to producing music after his retirement from sprinting, vowed to collaborate with the singer, 27, on a track for his second album.

Usain previously revealed he was keen to collaborate with artists in the UK and had reached out to several of them already, after releasing his first LP Country Yutes last September.

He’s now admitted he tried his hand at singing once before realising he ‘wasn’t good enough’ and would be better suited as a DJ.

Usain said: ‘I’m a producer, I can’t sing. I’ve learnt that from the start. I’ve tried once and I didn’t feel like I was good enough. Do you know what I mean? I knew my limitations, so I produce music.’
