Actress Evelyn Choi Models Arc'teryx's Revamped Atom LT Jacket

First announced earlier this year, Arc’teryx‘s classic Atom LT jacket recently received several thoughtful updates for Fall/Winter 2020. Made sturdier, more sustainable and packable, the jacket is now spotlighted in a new editorial by model and actress Evelyn Choi, who demonstrates the technical garment’s far-reaching appeal.

Though the Canadian company is famously indifferent to the fashion industry’s whims, but its Hong Kong licensee is clearly more conscious of the brand’s popularity with a young, street-savvy crowd — hence Choi’s seasonal editorial. The “Zephyr” model worn by Choi retains the slightly elasticized shell, elevated by Tyono 20 fabric for a lighter feel that’s no less wind resistant but significantly better at fighting pilling. Meanwhile, its cool blue tone comes by way of a new dying process that uses less resources.

Inside, Aequora AirPerm lining grants temperature regulating capabilities, running the full length of the slightly longer, reshaped cut. As Choi demonstrates, its ideal for layering but what you don’t see is the improved packability, which allows the garment to be easily compressed into its own pocket, sleeve or hood as the situations demand.

Shop the new Atom LT hooded jacket on Arc’teryx’s site for $259 USD.

Despite its disinterest in courting streetwear crowds, Arc’teryx still makes room for yearly BEAMS collaborations and exclusive items.
