Outside of reaching trail-blazing heights and inspiring success as a Grammy-winning recording artist, Bad Bunny continues to use his platform to inspire future generations with a new shoe collaboration with Adidas—and it’s the perfect new addition to your sneaker collection. This time, they’ll be adding a new take on the silhouette of their Adidas Forum sneakers, which are inspired by the Puerto Rican artist’s childhood school experience.
The new Bad Bunny Forum Back to School sneaker will keep the usual Forum shape, but it redefines a few aspects. With the goal of empowering individual expression, the shoe will have a triple black colorway featuring a premium leather upper, suede overlays and a buckle fastening. The style will also include polka-dot laces, co-branded sock liners and a Bad Bunny’s popular logo in bright yellow on the outsole, separating the shoe from previous launches and marketing towards children.
To go along with the launch of the sneaker—which joins a lineup of editor-approved sneaker launches—Bad Bunny and Adidas showcase the sneaker with a campaign featuring several young students. The shoot shows how they reimagine their school uniforms and style themselves with the Back to School Forum sneaker and highlight their unique personalities and speaks to Bad Bunny’s motivation for designing this shoe, which is to shed light on the idea that today’s rebels are tomorrow’s leaders.
You can get your hands on a pair for $160 starting August 17 through adidas.com or FRSH’s website. As we approach back-to-school season towards the end of the month and into September, this release may be a great gift for your young ones (and you) to feel confident in as they re-enter school hallways.
