The French First Lady was joined by Crown Princess Mary of Denmark during a visit of Lamartine School.

The Australian royal wore a gorgeous ensemble, with a knit fit and flare check skirt.

She added a white turtle neck jumper with three quarter length bishop sleeves.

Mary wore burgundy heels and a matching clutch bag, which she accessorised with a number of bracelets and diamond hoop earrings. One of the bracelets appeared to be a Cartier “Love” bracelet.

The cult jewellery items sell for between £3,650 and £36,100 for diamond encrusted versions.

Mary is a mother-of-four to Prince Christian of Denmark, Princess Josephine of Denmark, Princess Isabella of Denmark and Prince Vincent of Denmark.

She is admired around the world for her sense of style.

Brigitte Macron wore black and showed off her slender legs at a funeral in recent weeks.

Emmanuel Macron’s wife wore a black pea coat, black leather gloves and a black shift dress to mourn former French President Jacques Chirac.

She paired this with a long strap mini black handbag and black suede court shoes.

World leaders including Russian President Vladimir Putin, former US president Bill Clinton, former German chancellor Gerhard Schroder and Jordan’s King Abdallah II gathered to pay their respects at the event.

Crown Princess Mary and Kate Middleton are often compared due to their similar looks. Both beautiful women sport dark locks and porcelain skin.

Princess Mary recently looked simply stunning in a floor-length silver gown for the Copenhagen event which she attended with her husband Crown Prince Frederick, 50, who is heir to the Danish throne.

The royal couple were all smiles as they entered the richly adorned Royal Reception Room at the palace together.

Brigitte Macron: Five facts about the French President’s wife

Brigitte Trogneux, as she was born, is the youngest of six children and grew up in Amiens, France.

Her parents were owners of Chocolaterie Trogneux, which had been run by five generations of the family and is now run by Brigitte’s nephew.

Previous marriage

Before her marriage to the current French President, Brigitte was married to a banker, André-Louis Auzière.

The couple wed in June 1974 and had three children before finally divorcing in January 2006. She married Emmanuel in 2007.

Brigitte is famed for being her husband’s secondary school teacher, but she has had a varied working life.

In 1982 she was a press secretary at the Nord-Pas-de-Calais Chamber of Commerce, moving in to teaching two years later.

First Lady attempt

In 2017, Emmanuel made an attempt to give his wife an official paid role in French administration, as First Lady.

This was dashed, however, after an online petition against the move gained 300,000 signatures. Her role has stayed unofficial, although as with previous President’s wives, she does have a small team of staff.

Louis Vuitton

The French luxury fashion house began a relationship with Brigitte in 2015, loaning her outfits for public appearances.

Speaking to business news magazine Challenges, her team confirmed: “Everything has been noted in a register and the loan outs have been systematically returned. And she only wears their outfits for public appearances.”
