Rav Matharu‘s sustainable clothing line clothsurgeon has released its latest capsule, dubbed “_PROJECT EARTH.”
The collection comprises two SWEATsuits, a three-piece suit, T-shirts, a full patchwork checkerboard jersey capsule that features a T-shirt, a long sleeve T-shirt, and a grandad collar shirt, as well as a patchwork Nike teddy, bespoke organic CREMATE incense cones and Quality Compulsory Nike face masks.
For “_PROJECT EARTH,” clothsurgeon has upcycled vintage clothing from Nike and Ralph Lauren, and has combined this with reclaimed cloth swatches such as deadstock Nike fleecing, ripstop nylon, recycled wool, and tweed.
Standouts from the collection include a three-piece suit, which combines recycled wool fabric and deadstock ripstop to create a blazer, vest, and suit pants. Elsewhere, gray and white Nike crew neck T-shirts and Ralph Lauren stripe patchwork sleeves come together as casual T-shirts, while vintage Nike T-shirts are cut in such a way that their disrupted details are still recognizable, forming the aforementioned patchwork capsule.
The utility jacket gives the streetwear-indebted look a touch of Saville Row sartorialism, using tweed and wool alongside Nike fleece for a juxtaposed finish.
clothsurgeon’s “_PROJECT EARTH” can be seen in the lookbook above and pieces will be available to purchase on clothsurgeon’s website imminently.
