Furious mum claims her daughter’s Lush bath bomb stained her tub bright pink – and no amount of scrubbing will clean it

A MUM was left fuming after her daughter’s Lush bath bomb stained her tub bright pink – and no amount of scrubbing has removed it.

Taking to the Facebook group Mums Who Cook Clean & Organise, Belinda Hill from Australia, shared snaps of her now brightly coloured tub.

And after failing to shift the stain with Jiff, the desperate mum asked others for tips on restoring her tub’s ivory sheen.

Captioning her post, she wrote: “My daughter used a Lush bath bomb.

“We tried Jiff and gumption so far and it comes off with a lot of scrubbing, but not fully. Suggestions to try?”

Many came forward with advice, including one mum who had been through the same grief with her own bath bomb.

Commenting on the post, she wrote: “OMG this happened to me, I used bleach and bicarb soda and soaked it in hot water, then it came off with no scrubbing!”

Others agreed that bicarbonate of soda was the best approach.

“Just mix lemon, vinegar and bicarb soda, use it boiled hot. That helps to remove it” agreed another.

A third suggested: “Bleach and leave it for about 3 mins to clean it off and then do it for a second time.”

Fabulous Digital has contacted Lush for a comment.
