A FOODIE has shared a mouth-watering recipe for a mug cake that takes just five minutes to whip up – and there are no piles of dishes to wash.
Sometimes nothing hits the spot quite like a homemade cake – and if today you fancy something sweet, then this easy recipe is a must.
According to the author behind this dish, TikTok user Madi, you will only need a handful of ingredients, as well as a mug and the star of the show – microwave.
''Feel like eating some cake but only have five minutes? Well, I've got you with this birthday mug cake recipe,'' said the Aussie baking whizz.
Demonstrating the steps on TikTok, Madi shared the list of ingredients – 1/3 cup of self-raising flour, three tablespoons of white sugar, 1/4 cup of milk, two tablespoons of oil, as well as 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Once you're done mixing all the ingredients in a microwave-safe mug, add a generous dose of rainbow sprinkles and stir evenly.
