NAILING the interview and landing that dream job could come down to employing just a few simple mind tricks.
Lori-Lee Elliott, the CEO of Future Sight AR, claims that her four psychological hacks for interviews will double your chances of getting an offer – and one works "scary well."
"I thought everyone knew about this, but it turns out I was wrong," the Texas-based entrepreneur said in a viral TikTok video.
"When you are job hunting, there are four very real psychology hacks that you can use during your interview to double your chances of getting a job offer," she continued.
First, she said, keep your hands where they can see them.
"You are going to keep your hands above the table and gesture as much as you can," she said.

She added that keeping your palms open to the other person will make them like and trust you.
"This is an evolutionary thing and people aren't even consciously aware of it," she explained.

"This signals to the interviewer that you are a culture fit even though they actually don't know anything about you," she explained.
Her third trick is to wear a blue dress or shirt.
"Statistics show that people are more likely to get hired when they're wearing the color blue because blue is associated with being tranquil and calm and trustworthy."
Finally, the last one is a "legit Jedi mind trick," which Lori-Lee hopes viewers will "use ethically."
"When the interviewer asks, 'Do you have any questions?' you are going to want to ask, 'In a year from now, how will you know that you have hired the right candidate for this role? What does success look like?'" she instructed.
"The interviewer will then go on to list a bunch of great things, and those great things are going to be subconsciously associated with you, even though you haven't done any of those things."
Lori-Lee said this trick works "scary well, so use the Force wisely."
