I’m a foodie and these are the easiest poached eggs you’ll ever make and you don’t even need to turn the hob on | The Sun

HAVE you ever struggled with making a poached egg? Why don’t you try this easy method that doesn’t even require the hob.

Poached eggs are notoriously difficult to get right and often end up being fumbled – even by the best home cooks.

One woman has come up with a great alternative way that requires next to no effort to try out.

TikTok creator @jennifervalentyne has shared her foolproof hack which she says is “perfect”.

Jennifer cooks her egg in the microwave instead of on the hob.

She begins her video by promising these will be the easiest poached eggs you’ve ever made.

Jennifer adds one teaspoon of vinegar to a cup of cold water.

The egg is then cracked into the jug and placed into the microwave with no extra prep required.

The kitchen whizz sets a timer for one minute on the microwave before the magic happens.

After taking it out of the microwave, the foodie item looks like your standard poached egg.

The egg has a perfectly gooey yolk that you’d expect while the white all looks well cooked.

Those in the comments were impressed and quickly tried the method out themselves.

One person wrote: “That was the best poached egg I have ever had😁 I am 72 years old and can still love trying new stuff. Thank you.”
