I'm a runner – get white trainers sparkling with my easy solution using three common household ingredients

ARE your favorite pair of white sneakers even still white?

Runner Keri Clarke posted a video revealing how she gets her white running shoes sparkling again.

First, Clarke said she throws her beat-up trainers into a bucket of hot water mixed with Dawn soap.

After she lets the shoes soak for about an hour, she makes a cleaning paste using just two common household ingredients.

"I make a mixture of just baking soda, vinegar, and water," she said.

Using an old toothbrush, she applies the paste all over the outside of the wet sneakers.

Once the paste completely covers the sneaks, she said to wrap them up in paper towels to prevent them from pulling any yellow.

"Leave them out in the sun for three to four house," she said.

When the shoes are done sunbathing, she said to simply rinse them off and then leave them out to dry.

Clarke said this cleaning trick also works on white Converse and Vans as well.
