Meanswhile Men’s Fall 2021

Naohiro Fujisaki had the look book photos for his latest offering shot on a windy beach in Japan, the location reflecting the inspiration for the collection. Strong gusts also provided movement to the looks, even while the models stood still.

The look: Sporty, outdoor influences provided functionality to oversize, comfortable-looking silhouettes. Traditional shibori tie-dye and contrast details came together with a palette of muted neutrals and warm ochre to up the fashion quotient of casual styles.

Standout pieces: Pants, in technical fabrics had zippers on each leg, but rather than separating the top from the bottom, they ran vertically down the front of each leg. Fujisaki injected a sweatsuit with a bit of luxe with contrast piping, panels of velour and a hue of dusty pink. A turmeric-colored puffer jacket had a coordinating cape layered over it for added volume.
