A MUM has been shamed for sharing the “unhealthy” dinner she serves her five-year-old daughter.
The US-based woman showed how she gives her child chicken nuggets, waffle fries, sliced strawberries and bananas to eat in the evening.
The mum shared a photo to Facebook and wrote: “Dinner for my five-year-old – chicken nuggets, waffle fries, strawberries and bananas."
However, many people were quick to criticise the meal and say it wasn’t nutritious.
Others defended her for providing her daughter with a tasty meal.
One person wrote: "Are people actually complaining about a mum feeding her baby? You guys realise there's people out there who starve their kids? Good for you mama. I'd literally eat this dinner too. Looks good to me."
Another added: "Some of you act like you've never had a chicken nugget in your life before."
Some parents said that they also struggle with feeding fussy kids.
One wrote: "It amazes me that there are kids out there that will eat whatever is put in front of them.
“My kid? Nope… As long as the kid is eating and healthy, what's the problem? It's not your kid anyway."
One parent joked: "My son is eating Doritos for breakfast right this moment. I could sit here and explain why, but you know what?
“It doesn't matter and is frankly none of anyone's business. We have got to stop judging other parents. It's ridiculous."
