Now that the world has opened up after the best part of a year and a half, most of us Brits jetted off the first moment we could or at least took a short vacay nearby.

If you’re anything like us, we’ve completely forgotten how to pack a bag for a weekend away, never mind a two week holiday.

Turns out our very own Duchess of Cambridge is an absolute whizz when it comes to packing – I mean wouldn’t anyone if they were on the road multiple times a year like her? But what are her travel tips and tricks you ask? Well, we have all the info right here…

Most awkward Royal wardrobe malfunction's including Kate and Meghan moments

Of course Kate Middleton has someone who actually packs her bags for her but truth be told, she does have a preference when it comes to sorting her bags for a trip away and is pretty hands on with the process.

Kate, 39, always packs back-up clothes and shoes so she’s prepared for any unexpected occasion or situation she might find herself in, such as a full black outfit in case a member of the royal family passes away.

If you’re the kind that just throws clothes into a suitcase praying it will shut at the end, listen up!

It’s believed that the mother-of-three folds and wraps her belongings using tissue paper. She also carries her dresses separately in individual clothes carriers which apparently get their own seat on the plane.

As a woman in the public eye, creased clothing is just not an option, The Duchess opts for wrinkle free clothes to travel in such as clothes made from polyester, nylon, acrylic especially when it involves a plane, no wonder she always looks so flawless after a flight.

Although Kate takes her hairstylist, Amanda Cook, with her everywhere, she never leaves her house without a compact mirror, blotting paper, a handkerchief and lip balm in her bag and when she flies she will always carry a moisturiser with SPF and a hydrating face mask.

So there you have it, you will be a packing pro in no time with these tricks!
