Kate ‘dying to meet Archie’ and George and Charlotte keep asking about him

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis keep asking their mum and dad when they will get to meet their little cousin Archie, a source has claimed.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's first child was born a week ago, but the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their kids still haven't popped in to see him yet.

Auntie Kate and Uncle William are reportedly "dying to meet" their nephew Archie, and the special meeting is finally happening tomorrow.

A source told the Mirror: “All of the family have been dying to meet little Archie and are really excited to finally congratulate Harry and Meghan in person.

“Harry’s family wanted to give him and Meghan some time to settle in to family life and Meghan’s mum Doria is still staying with them as the baby gets used to his surroundings.

“Prince Charles and Camilla were in constant contact when they were in Germany and are so excited to spend some time with the new family.

“William and Kate are also really looking forward to paying a visit as are their own three children.

“Prince George, 5 and Princess Charlotte, 4, have already been asking their parents when they can meet their new cousin, they are as excited as anybody.”

Kate and William will travel to Windsor tomorrow (Tuesday) to meet little Archie.

The couple visited the couple's new home Frogmore Cottage for the first time on Easter Sunday when Kate reportedly acted as peacemaker following a rift.

Kate will then travel to Milton Keynes to visit Bletchley Park and view a special D-Day exhibition in the newly restored Teleprinter Building, marking the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings.

Proud grandad Prince Charles is also looking forward to meeting the newborn for the first time and is planning to visit on Thursday.

Princess Diana’s older sister Lady Jane Fellowes was one of the first to meet baby Archie, an indication of how close to his mother’s family Harry remains.

Meghan's mum Doria Ragland has been staying at the couple's home since before the baby arrived, and is believed to have been very hands on in the first few days.

Archie met the Queen and Prince Philip for the first time when he was just two days old – shortly after the official photocall.
