Who needs a wedding veil when you can have a bridal cape?

Lily Collins married fiancé Charlie McDowell over the weekend in Dunton, Colorado, wearing a long-sleeved white lace gown by Ralph Lauren that was fit for a fairytale.

“I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife. On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other’s forever,” the “Emily in Paris” actress captioned a photo from the big day.

Styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, 32-year-old Collins paired her high-neck dress with a matching lace hooded cape, which she wore pulled over a chic low bun.

“What started as a fairytale, is now my forever reality. I’ll never be able to properly describe how otherworldly this past weekend was, but magical is a pretty good place to start…,” Collins captioned in another post, posing near a waterfall at the Dunton Hot Springs.

It’s no surprise that the bride would choose an unconventional alternative to a traditional veil, as her engagement ring was also a unique creation by jeweler Irene Neuwirth.

MacDowell proposed with the one-of-a-kind rose-cut diamond in September 2020.

Tons of celebrities flocked to the comments to congratulate the newly married couple, including Reese Witherspoon, Diane Keaton, Matt Bomer, Brad Goreski and more.
