M&S are selling a chocolate sausage dog called Walter and it’s almost too cute to eat

Now that Christmas is over, we can all begin to look forward to Easter.

This may seem premature, but the way 2021 is going the prospect of delicious chocolate eggs are a welcome one.

And M&S have just launched an very delectable addition to their festive chocolate range; an adorable sausage dog.

The yummy-looking pooch is called Walter and comes in a kennel shaped box which is emblazoned with the slogan "pawsitively delicious".

For the dog lovers among us, this is a fabulous alternative to an egg, but the only issue is it is almost to cute to eat.

Walter costs just £5 and is already proving to be very popular online.

A picture of the treat was shared to the Instagram account @newsfoodsuk, alongside the caption: “Chocolate Walter The Sausage Dog now available at @marksandspencer”.

At the time of writing it had received 4,163 likes and plenty of comments, with followers expressing their delight and tagging their mates.

One person wrote: "think I might need a Walter!"

While another, clearly referring to how sweet the dog looks, added: “I’m not sure id want to eat it”.

The chocolate delight is currently only available in M&S stores, however there are plans in motion for it to be sold online so it’s best to keep your eyes peeled.

And if dogs are not to your liking, which we would be very surprised by, then the famed supermarket are also selling a chocolate koala as well as a more traditional Easter bunny made from white chocolate.
