Nick Cannon Claims He’s Making $100 Million Per Year
Nick Cannon has garnered controversy for having 12 children with multiple women, many of whom were born in the last several years. However, the television personality swears he can afford he, as Nick recently claimed to be making $100 million annually.
During a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Nick addressed the allegations that he’s a “deadbeat” father. “I hear all the time: ‘You can’t be present for all those children.’ So therefore I get this deadbeat dad title,” he explained.

Nick went into detail about how he splits his time between his children, explaining he spends nights at different households. He has a schedule of his children’s school and extracurricular activities, which he often helps drive them to.
When pressed on how he financially supports his large family, Nick revealed his large income. “When you think about my lifestyle, I have to generate at least $100 million a year,” he explained.
“Everybody thinks Ryan Seacrest has tons of money,” he continued. “I do everything that he does times 10. Well, not times 10–- times three. Because he does a lot.”
Nick has been on television for decades and currently has multiple projects on the go. he makes a sizeable profit from his Wild N’ Out series and hosts two seasons of The Masked Singer per year, which reportedly pays $20 million. He’s also currently a temporary host on Beat Shazam.
While a $100 million salary sounds huge, it’s not unrealistic considering all the sources of revenue Nick likely has. And with 12 children, he better be making a good income.

Nick welcomed 5 children last year alone, including a son with Brie Tiesi, a daughter with LaNisha Cole two months later, and a son with Brittany Bell a week later. He also welcomed a daughter with Alyssa Scott in December 2022, a year after the pair lost their newborn son to brain cancer.
Nick already shares two older children, a song and daughter, with Brittany. He also has a set of twins with his ex-wife Mariah Carey, plus a set of twins with DJ Abby De La Rosa as well as a younger daughter born last year.
It was previously reported that Nick is paying $3 million in child support annually, though the actor has refuted the claim. Nick says he’s not on child support, but spends much more to support his children (which includes buying the mothers of his children homes, on occasion).
