ATLETICO MADRID have joined the race to sign Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin, according to reports.
The Spaniard is able to leave the Emirates this summer for the right price.
It is believed boss Mikel Arteta wants £20million for the 26-year-old who has been at the Gunners since 2011.
Bellerin has reportedly told Arsenal chiefs that he wants a new challenge and Arteta will not stand in his way.
According to Marca, Atletico manager Diego Simeone is looking for Kieran Trippier's replacement at right-back.
The England international is being heavily linked with a switch to Manchester United but the clubs can't agree on a fee.
The Times claims that United are not currently willing to meet the £20million-plus price tag placed on the defender’s head by Atletico – while Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano claims it is even as high as £34m.
If United step up their pursuit of Trippier, Atletico will look to replace him with Bellerin.
The ex-Barcelona youth player still has two years left on his deal at the Emirates.
Bellerin, who has four caps for Spain, featured 25 times in the Premier League last season but has recently battled with injury.
Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have been linked but their interest has appeared to have stalled.
Juventus have also shown an interest with reports of the Old Lady offering a swap deal involving Arsenal's former midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
