ARSENAL will play two friendlies in Dubai during the World Cup versus Lyon and AC Milan – and it starts TODAY.
The Gunners will play in the Dubai Super Cup against the French side on December 8 and then the Serie A champions on December 13.
Liverpool complete the teams in the mini competition but Mikel Arteta's side will not play their Premier League rivals.
The aim of the tournament is to keep players who are not part of the World Cup fit during the six-week pause of domestic football.
Arsenal will fly out to Abu Dhabi for a warm-weather training camp as well as the scheduled friendlies.
Plenty of stars in the league leaders' squad are not in action in Qatar.
