CHACUN Pour Soi laid down a serious Champion Chase marker with a bloodless victory at Leopardstown.
Willie Mullins' star chaser breezed to an effortless win in the Grade 1 Paddy's Rewards Club Chase.
And the bookies slashed his odds for the two-mile championship at Cheltenham in March, with Paddy Power cutting him into 7-4 from 11-4 and Coral going 6-4 from 5-2.
He barely had to break out of second gear to put away some top rivals.
He cruised through the race under Paul Townend and picked his way through the field in the back straight.
Notebook tried to go with him into the final fence, but Chacun Pour Soi emerged with a two length advantage following a flying leap.
That was game over and he was able to canter home for an six and a half length success, with Notebook just holding off last season's Arkle winner Put The Kettle On for second.

Mullins said: "I was really pleased with that. He showed a great spring in his jumping and really attacked his fences. After the last fence, he flew around the final bend and was then idling a bit. His ears were pricked and I'd say he'd plenty in reserve.
"He'll probably come back here for the Dublin Racing Festival. I hadn't intended going to Mallow (Cork) with him until I saw what we had left in the John Durkan. It was a good opportunity to go to Mallow and it worked out perfectly and left him just right for today.
"It was frustrating what happened to him at Cheltenham, but these things happen with horses every day."
And Mullins made it a Grade 1 double on Sunday as Appreciate It bolted up in the Paddy Power Future Champions Novice Hurdle.
The six-year-old was slashed into 5-1 favourite from 12-1 with Betfair for the Supreme Novices' Hurdle in March.
