STAY on the right Line with Charlie Appleby in the Dante Stakes.
LINE OF DUTY struck gold at the Breeders' Cup and will definitely stay the trip. Already a top-level performer and will take all the beating with that form in the book.
Al's not your pal. Promising youngster who won on his second start last season. Could be an exciting prospect but his form falls well below those with Group-race experience to their name.
Not just a flash in the Pan. Full brother to top-class performers Sir Isaac Newton and Secret Gesture and lived up to his breeding when winning the Group 2 Beresford Stakes on his final start of last season. Should stay and will be in the mix.
Line Of Duty 5/5
Get on Duty. Classy colt who was last seen enjoying Grade 1 glory at the Breeders' Cup. Will stay the trip and has proven form in the book. Charlie Appleby's team are in flying form and he has plenty of scope to progress.
Nayef Road 3/5
Not on the Road to glory. Came back with an impressive win in a Newmarket handicap but that form needs improving on to trouble the best of these. Save him for another day.
Don't be scared to Surf. Bolted up by 14 lengths on his last start and is related to top performer Kitesurf. In the category of 'could be anything' but may be one for the future against some experienced rivals today.
Cast your vote wisely. Form has been given a boost with Bangkok coming out and winning the Sandown Classic Trial. Impressed when getting off the mark last month and another who has plenty of potential. Hard to trust that he will at this level just yet though.
Too Darn Hot 4/5
Is he Hot to trot? Unbeaten champion tw0-year-old who would have to be the one to beat – although his fitness can't be relied on. If there is a time to take him on it will be in the Dante, and he faces some serious opposition today.
Turn against him. Looks as if he is just making up the numbers. Best form came when third in the Derby Trial at Epsom, but form leaves him with plenty to find here. One to discount.
