ITV racing Templegate tips for huge Friday of action taking in Chepstow, York and Newmarket

TEMPLEGATE takes on a bumper day of racing on the TV on Friday.

Our man dissects each race and delivers his verdict. Good luck!

CONCERT HALL can call the Fillies’ Mile tune.

She was impressive when scoring at The Curragh last time and will enjoy this extra furlong.

Here’s my guide to a packed afternoon on ITV4.

HIERARCHY was chinned on the line when second in the Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes at Newbury last time.

Dropping in trip and class can get him over the line. Papa Don’t Preach shaped well at Doncaster and can hit the frame, while Tardis was a Listed winner on her last run over course and distance.

GEORDIE DES CHAMPS has been in good form over hurdles with back-to-back victories at Ffos Las. He goes back over fences from 5lb below his last winning mark.

Indy Five was in good form last season and is worth a look back from a break while Vieux Lion Rouge goes well here.

PEARL GLORY went close in this grade at Salisbury on just her third run. She has traffic problems so can go one better.

Perfect News franked that form when winning here last time and will be a threat if handling this easier ground.

Allayaali is another with more to come.

COEUR SEREIN landed a hat-trick of wins at Huntingdon last time and will be hard to beat if matching that form at undulating Chepstow. He stays well and there’s more to come.

Camprond went close on comeback at Stratford and is a threat.

CHINDIT drops to this trip for the first time since winning the Greenham at Newbury in April. He handles soft and was unlucky in the Celebration Mile at Goodwood latest.

Charlie Appleby’s pair of D’Bai and Al Suhail are hard to split. The former came home in front of his stablemate three weeks ago and can confirm that form.

3.15 YORK

BILLHILLY often leaves it late so will need luck but has a big engine and lots of talent. His best has come over this trip and trainer Charlie Fellowes is in hot form.

Last year’s winner Ouzo has every chance off the same mark as 12 months ago while Challet battled to score here last time and is a threat.

CONCERT HALL looks a big price after a solid win over this trip at The Curragh 12 days ago. Moving up to a mile can bring improvement and she relishes cut in the ground.

It’s hard to carpet Inspiral who has won all three starts easily including a Donny Group 2. She faces softer ground here but is a big threat.

Wild Beauty was impressive when taking a hot contest in Canada and is a proven stayer who handles any going. Mise En Scene was green when scoring well at Goodwood and is another to follow.

3.50 YORK

MAHRAJAAN made it three wins in a row on handicap debut at Hamilton latest. A 10lb rise is a challenge but there’s much more to come.

Fleurman has staying power and had 11 lengths to spare at Salisbury last time. Annandale got the job done well at Ayr and has place claims.

MOSHAAWER ran a belter in second when upped in trip for the Melrose at York but has enough pace to drop back. It’s still early days for Roger Varian’s Frankel colt who looks a Group winner in waiting.

Injazati is progressing well and wasn’t stopping when scoring over 1m2f at Newbury last month.

Siskany was a close second at Goodwood when last seen in July and looks dangerous.
