It looked like the same old Jets in Sunday’s 22-6 loss to the Bengals. In the latest episode of the “Gang’s All Here” podcast, The Post’s Brian Costello breaks down the awful loss to the previously winless Bengals. He talks about the feel in the locker room after the game and Jamal Adams being driven to tears.
Then, columnist Mark Cannizzaro joins Coz to discuss the Jets’ lack of a run game and poor coaching. Cannizzaro also talks about the Jets returning to their old ways, as well as what comes next.
I then get riled up and do some yelling in my weekly “From, The Fans” segment, including mention that the Jets looked more lifeless than me at a salad bar.
Former Jets safety Erik Coleman then chats with Coz and talks about the awful performance, the Jets struggles this season and what to watch for the rest of the way.
Coleman then talks about how some players will check out in the final month of a bad season and sometimes make up injuries to go on the IR, or teams will put them on IR to give different players a chance.
He also discusses the vast difference between being coached by Herm Edwards and Eric Mangini. Coleman, who can be seen Sunday nights on CBS’ on “Jets Late Night,” also tells a few great stories about Edwards.
