MANCHESTER UNITED and Tottenham face a major fight if they want to sign Boubakary Soumare amid claims six clubs have already lodged bids for the Lille star.
Soumare has caught the eye of scouts across Europe with his displays at the base of the midfield for the French side, who value him around £50million.
United and Spurs have both been watching the 20-year-old closely throughout this season as they weigh up whether to make a move this month.
But reports in L'Equipe suggest Lille have already received six offers for the young Frenchman as the battle hots up for his signature.
Soumare was targeted by Wolves last summer but the Midlands club saw a £34million offer knocked back.
Since then the likes of Manchester City, Napoli, Real Madrid and Valencia have all been linked with the midfielder, who gave a series of impressive displays in the Champions League this season.
