Today's free horse racing tips: Plumpton and Ludlow – Steve Mullen's betting preview for Sunday, May 12

SINAKAR ran his best race since coming back from a long break when third at Huntingdon last time out. He sees out this distance well and a repeat would see him go close off a falling mark.

Codeshare looks capable of better than he showed at Uttoxeter last time when third and was decent on the Flat. Goldrapper was a solid second at Huntingdon latest in similar race so should be on the premises again.

SANTANI won by 25 lengths on his debut over course and distance last month and should have a lot more to offer. The opposition looks slightly stronger here but there will be more to come.

Longhouse Sale has had a wind operation since winning a bumper at Fontwell in August and comes from top connections in the Skeltons. Statuario cruised to victory at Ffos Las and looks the main threat.

Form from that track isn’t always the strongest but he did it well and is also capable of better.

HEYDOUR caught the eye on chasing debut at Huntingdon last time out, coming home second just a neck behind the winner. He shapes as though this longer distance will suit and he should learn from that experience.

Nesterenko was better at Stratford two runs ago than he was at Exeter last time. He looks on a fair mark compared to his hurdles form and could improve today.

Mac Tottie is a useful hurdler making his chase debut. He mopped up some small races over this sort of distance and a market move would be interesting.

SO LONELY is in a rich vein for form and cruised home by 11 lengths at Huntingdon last time out. He has really improved since joining the Skeltons and could still be a few pounds ahead of the handicapper.

Court Royale enjoyed himself when winning over course and distance last time and a 5lb rise in the weights gives him a chance of following up.

Peruvien Bleu won this two years ago and showed positive signs when third at Haydock last time. He is handicapped for a good run.

HATCHER looks hard to beat after two easy wins at Leicester and Southwell since switching to chasing. He starts off handicapping from a fair mark here and another good run is expected.

Capital Force ran well over hurdles at Cheltenham last time and has some fair form over these biggest obstacles. He looks on a handy mark.

Capitoul is hit and miss but won well at Worcester last summer and may have needed his comeback at Perth last time out.

PALIXANDRE had one run in a bumper last summer and looked rusty on his hurdles debut at Worcester last time coming back from almost a year off.

He showed some promise though and has a lot more to offer for Nicky Henderson. Dartmoor had a quiet debut in a bumper last time and should improve considerably on that.

Sunset Showdown is hard to assess as he goes back over hurdles and takes a fair drop in class. He’s run well in better races than this over timber so should figure.

Nicky Henderson has a good record in this race and introduces a nice newcomer in KEEN ON. He is related to plenty of winners, including in bumpers, and the market will be a good guide.

More Overdraught is one to keep an eye on although she’s bred to be a real stayer. Richard Johnson is on board for this debut and they should go well.

Golden Grove’s trainer Harry Whittington is capable of getting bumper winners so she’s worth a look in the betting.
