UFC stunner Arianny Celeste hits back at Khabib Nurmagomedov after legend's controversial remarks about ring girls

ARIANNY CELESTE has hit back at Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The former lightweight champion, 32, caused a stir when he labelled octagon girls like Celeste as the 'most useless people in martial arts'.

Nurmagomedov also revealed that they make him feel 'uncomfortable' as he sits octagon-side.

The Russian was subsequently mocked by old foe Conor McGregor, who posted a Simpsons meme poking fun at Nurmagomedov.

The image showed Smithers, labelled as Khabib, sobbing while two half-naked women, captioned Arianny Celeste and Brittany Palmer, danced near him.

Palmer herself quote-tweeted the Notorious' post, writing: "Hahahah sorry not sorry!"

And now Celeste has waded in.

Responding to the same image on Instagram, she wrote: "Sorry we make u uncomfortable."

Speaking at a press conference, Khabib asked: "Do they develop a sport? Or do they help people to see that it is the second round now? What are they doing? Tell me please.

"I realise that it is history. But history knows many mistakes. We read history to avoid mistakes of the past in the future.

"If we look at the history, it says they are useless. That is my personal opinion."

Now entering the promotion game, Khabib revealed that there would not be ring girls at any of his events.

He added: "Dana White maybe likes it, maybe you do too. But my name is not Dana, my name is Khabib.

"I am not coming with my own rules to you. You don't do this too. But if we have a joint event, we should realise.

"If there are people that come to look at these people, you shouldn't do it on September 17th [Khabib's next promotion]. You shouldn't go there.

"If you want to come and see the fights of the best athletes, you have such a place on September 17th. It is CSKA Arena."
