AJ Pritchard was warned that he would face a tough schedule when he headed to Gwrych Castle for the latest series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! 2020. The 26-year-old former Strictly Come Dancing professional revealed on a podcast that he had been informed he wouldn’t get to sleep before 3am while he starred on the show.
Speaking about this year’s new format, former I’m A Celebrity contestant Ferne McCann said that she had heard AJ speak about his schedule and revealed that the contestants are facing long days of filming.
The TOWIE star suggested that the contestants were probably sitting down to their dinners in the early hours of the morning.
It came shortly after I’m A Celebrity presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly accidentally shared their schedule, which started at 5:15pm and saw the duo finish work 12:45am the following morning.
Ferne had joined Phillip Schofield and Davina McCall on This Morning where they went on to discuss the I’m A Celebrity schedule.

The reality star first revealed that the were actually filmed after the live shows, meaning the cast are already up late as they take part in the latest grizzly challenge.
“Not forgetting the dreaded trials, which start after the live shows. They [Ant and Dec] do get a break and they eat in-between,” she explained.
Ferne then revealed that AJ had previously opened up about preparing for the enduring schedule.
She continued: “Before entering the castle, AJ Prtichard revealed on a podcast that he was told to brace himself as they wouldn’t get to bed until 3am, which can only mean they are going to have their dinner at 1am in the morning.”
“Now if you’re having a little late night tonight, just think of the campmates butchering some random Welsh delicacy.
“But yeah, that’s going to mess up their whole sleep pattern.”
Phillip Schofield then suggested that their late nights simply meant the timing of their days shifted a little later.
The ITV presenter explained that the celebrities are probably waking up a lot later as a result and are able to get used to their new schedule.

“Having said that your day just shifts, doesn’t it. They’ll eat, then they’ll maybe chat a little bit afterwards and the day shifts, so they’ll just get up a lot later,” Phillip added.
Ferne went on to admit that she lost track of time during her appearance on the show and felt that this year’s stars might feel the same.
Their discussion about the timings in the I’m A Celebrity camps comes just days after Ant and Dec accidentally revealed the filming schedule to their millions of followers on social media.
In a recent social media video, the camera accidentally panned to a whiteboard that featured their work schedule.
However, Ant and Dec then saw the funny side of their blunder and decided to tease an updated version of their work schedule in a later social media post.
In the subsequent clip, the comedians had added some extra tasks to their hilarious schedule.
The whiteboard – that was evidently a joke version – included funny tasks such as time for “hot chocolate”, “cold chocolate”, a “rectal temperature check” and lots of running between the studios.
I’m A Celebrity continues week nights and Sundays at 9pm on ITV.
