Coronation Street spoiler sees Amy Barlow seek revenge on Aaron Sandford after rape
After Coronation Street's Amy Barlow was raped by Aaron Sandford back in February, viewers have been watching the youngster trying to get her life back on track as best as she can.
It emerged that Amy – played by Elle Mulvany – was raped by once-friend and housemate Aaron – played by James Craven – after getting drunk.
But after trying to report the incident to the police and not being taken seriously, she sadly retracted the allegation in the hope she could just move on.
But as she continues to see him around Weatherfield, it's clear to see she's still suffering from the horrific incident.
New spoilers reveal Amy, daughter of Steve McDonald and Tracy Barlow in the show, having a panic attack on her way to university and, unable to move forward, is determined to get her revenge on Aaron and will contact his new girlfriend to warn her off.
Although revealing to Summer that she has a date with Ezra, a boy she recently met on her course at university, her friend knows she's not ready for it.
As Amy gets ready for her date and applies her makeup, it is hinted that she is already regretting her date with Ezra.
Later on in the episode, Amy walks past Aaron kissing another girl in Victoria Garden and feels sick at what she's witnessed.
Shocked and confused at what to do next, Amy decides to confide in friend Aadi and explains that she is finding it hard to see Aaron continuing his life as normal as she still struggles with what happened.
But it's when Amy talks to Summer and describes the girl that Aaron was kissing that the pair piece the clues together on her identity.
It turns out it was Mia, Aaron's ex-girlfriend who was spotted in the park.
Amy then decides to take 'revenge' and messages Mia to caution her that he's bad news.
Viewers are then able to see Mia showing the message to Aaron, but are unaware how he'll react to Amy's warning.
But as Eric Sandford (played by Craig Cheetham) tells Aaron that they could go travelling together elsewhere in the episode, it could also mean Aaron would be out of Amy's life for good and she could hopefully put the trauma behind her.
Her message might just be what deters Aaron from going though as it's predicted it could anger him and perhaps confront Amy.
