Corrie fans predict Summer baby paternity riddle as they spot chemistry with pal

Coronation Street teenager Summer Spellman, played by Harriet Bibby, has been struggling to cope after discovering she is pregnant with her boyfriend Aaron's baby.

Fans were stunned when she agreed to sell her baby to couple Esther and Mike in exchange for £10,000 so she could send Aaron's father to rehab.

But in sad scenes next week, Summer is set to suffer a heartbreaking miscarriage and decide whether to tell the couple and give their money back to them.

But as she struggles with what to do, fans have noticed that she and Jacob seem to be closer than ever, sparking speculation that the the pair could be set for an affair, or have maybe even started one already.

Fans took to social media to comment on the theory, with one saying: "There's definitely something going on with Summer and Jacob."

Another added: "At least she can't get pregnant again as she already is… or is that down to Jacob too."

A third chipped in: "Something is not right with Summer and Jacob."

A fourth agreed: "Jacob is going to get beaten up by Tracy Barlow."

Could Jacob be the real father of Summer's baby, or could the pair end up together?

Fans of the soap will have to wait and see what happens, but they are fearing for Summer as Esther and Mike are sure to be devastated by the news of the miscarriage.

Spoilers have revealed that next week, after discovering Aaron's dad Eric is drinking again, Summer finds that she is bleeding.

After a trip to hospital confirms the worst, Summer receives a text message from an excited Esther.

Will she admit the truth or keep the secret from the couple?
