David Walliams tells BGT audience member to ‘shut up’ after sudden outburst

David Walliams hit out at a Britain's Got Talent audience member after they heckled live on air.

The panelist turned around in his chair after hearing someone call out in the crowd.

Simon Cowell had been talking to Ant and Dec when the heckler was heard shouting out.

"I think a few of these performances are going to change lives," he was saying but was interrupted.

A woman called out: "I love you Simon!"

David twisted his head around to the audience, shouting back: "Shut up!"

This certainly wasn't the most awkward moment tonight – a semi-finalist announced that he and his fiancee announced their shock baby news live on air.

Jacob Jones, who previously asked his girlfriend to marry him on stage, revealed that he and his fiancee were expecting a baby.

And Ant McParlin, like the rest of the BGT viewers, was left raising his eyebrows.

Before introducing the next act, he couldn't help but quip: "If he gets to the final what the hell will he announce then?!"

Fans were also rolling their eyes at Jacob's antics, with one tweeting: "If Jacob Jones gets through to the final.. He'll probably do the gender reveal.. #BGT #begginit."

While another commented: "#jacob #BGT oh come on !!"

A third joked: "Jacob Jones gets through to final then reveals his lass has left him and Stephen mulhurn is father #BGT."

Ant was on a roll tonight and earlier hit back at boss Simon Cowell after the media mogul made an awkward dig at him live on air.

After introducing the last Britain's Got Talent semi-final of the week, Ant and Dec went to talk to the judges.

But Simon couldn't help but snark about their darkening tan.

"You're both getting a sun tan this week," Simon pointed out. "You're both getting darker and darker."

"It's my blood pressure – working with you!" Ant hit back, sparking laughter from the rest of the judges.

Tonight the final two acts will be chosen to be part of the final on Sunday.

Also joining them will be a wild card act chosen by the judges.

All the acts will be competing to win £250,000 and a place in the BGT final.
