Susanna Reid warned Martin Lewis not to “maths shame” her during Tuesday’s instalment of Good Morning Britain. The 50-year-old took a swipe at the money-saving expert who was presenting the ITV show alongside her when he told viewers he had set a maths challenge for Irish politician Darragh O’Brien, who was joining them later on.
Martin, 49, who founded the website MoneySavingExpert.com, told Good Morning Britain viewers he’d set a maths challenge for O’Brien to tackle during the episode.
Speaking to viewers before cutting to a break, Susanna said: “Coming up is Daragh O’Brien and Martin has a maths challenge for him.”
Martin interjected: “He’s going to find it easy, I wonder if other people around him will find it quite so simple.”
Susanna snapped: “Don’t maths shame me Martin!”
