EastEnders favourite quits after four years in dramatic exit storyline | The Sun
EASTENDERS star Gurlaine Kaur Garcha has quit the soap after four years.
The actress – who plays Ash Panesar in the BBC soap – will leave in the coming weeks in a lowkey storyline, The Sun can exclusively reveal.
A source said: “Gurlaine’s loved her time on the show but she’s ready to try new things.
“She’s had an incredible three years on the soap and made some great friends.
“She’ll film her final scenes in the coming months and in typical EastEnders style it will be unmissable.”
She joined the soap as the bisexual doctor in 2019 and was an immediate hit.

Bosses introduced the wider Panesar family around her with brothers Kheerat, Vinny and Jags arriving shortly before their mother Suki.
Jags was later killed off, while Kheerat left last year after the arrival of abusive dad Nish.
Now Ash has become the latest Panesar to be leaving the Square.
But it’s not bad news for actress Gurlaine – she’s got plans to take on Hollywood.
