It could be a crucial moment in the biggest plot line on the Square this Christmas, with the incident playing out in front of Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), triggering Ian’s memory about who attacked him and left him for dead.
Next week sees Ian begin to piece together the events of the night he was attacked in the Queen Vic.
After seeing Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) be violent towards Peter Beale, he begins to believe it was Ben who attacked him.
However, nothing is yet clear and viewers will have to wait to see if Ian’s recollection about who attacked him is correct.
Viewers will have to wait to see how the dramatic storyline will play out, with everyone on the Square a potential suspect.
It comes after viewers have seen Bobby struggle with OCD over the past couple of months, believing his failure to complete his counting ritual was why dad Ian was attacked.
Peter has known about what his brother is going through, but has done little to help over recent times.
