Emmerdale spoilers: Zak Dingle goes missing after returning to tell his family Lisa is dying

THE Dingle clan are set to receive some devastating news in Emmerdale next week when Zak and Lisa return to the village to tell the family Lisa is dying.

Unaware, Belle plans a welcome home party for her parents, excited to have them back again. But her joy is set to be short-lived.

When they arrive back at Wishing Well cottage, Zak and Lisa are overwhelmed by the party and how delighted everyone is to see them. An emotional Lisa starts to feel the pressure of telling her heartbreaking news to them all.

Charity – who knows Lisa’s secret already – begins to get very upset as she knows the real reason why they’re back. Seeing Charity in bits makes Belle concerned and she demands to know what’s going on.

Lisa – played by Jane Cox in the ITV soap – tearfully tells her daughter – and the rest of the family – that she’s dying.

The Dingles are all utterly shocked by what they hear and struggle to process the news. Poor Belle feels betrayed that her mum told Charity – Emma Atkins – about her illness before her.

Lisa tries to explain her reasons and pleads with Belle – Eden Taylor Draper -to forgive her so they can enjoy the time she has left. Will Belle come round?

Later Lisa opens up to Zak and confesses that she’s terrified of dying and can’t stop thinking about what happens when she goes.

Zac promises he’ll be by her side and vows to comfort her, but he’s heartbroken and struggling to cope too.

The Dingles are worried when Zak suddenly goes missing. Where is he? And will he be back to stand by Lisa when she needs him the most?
