Fans of The Chase were left bewildered by the performance of one of the ITV show's celebrity contestants this weekend after one of the four struggled with general knowledge questions and ultimately left empty-handed.
The latest instalment saw Waterloo Road star Adam Thomas joined by former Strictly Come Dancing professional Brendan Cole, BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty and Total Wipeout presenter Amanda Byram.
As ever, host Bradley Walsh welcomed the group to the studio to take on Mark 'The Beast' Labbett in a bid to earn big cash amounts for their chosen charities.

It was the performance of Adam that stole the show, however, in an hilarious but somewhat fruitless general knowledge round.
It was clear from the offset that the 34-year old had little faith in his own ability, with the former Emmerdale star struggling during his cash-builder, despite bagging £1,000.
After The Beast offered him a paltry but seemingly tempting £500 to play for as well as much higher offer, Adam joked he was a 'lucky' man and went to confer with the others on how to proceed.
The Beast, meanwhile, struck by Adam's optimism, couldn't help but uncharacteristically laugh as the whole set burst into giggles.
Adam soon opted for the much less risky £500 offer, before promising to deliver up more 'great telly' in response to Brendan's request.

Despite the laughter in the studio, viewers at home were clearly less than impressed with the actor's IQ.
One Twitter user declared: "Who was that guy Adam on celebrity The Chase? Denser than a black hole!"
Another joked: "Imagine the Chase with Adam… Gemma Collins.. .Joey Essex.. and Katie Price."
A third commented: "That was torture to watch."
And a fourth added: "Adam Thomas on The Chase right now. Definition of a himbo."
Sadly for Adam, meanwhile, he was eventually caught by The Beast and left with nothing.
