Ferne McCann ‘in talks to sign up to Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’

She’s already a regular on the box, but now reality star Ferne McCann is set to make an appearance in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, according to reports.

It has been claimed the First Time Mum star has been in talks with the hit Channel 4 series’ producers about joining the line-up when the show returns next year.

They’re said to be impressed by the former The Only Way is Essex cast member’s “gutsy” attitude that she showed when she took part in I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! back in 2015 and think she’d be a great addition to their new-look series, according to The Daily Star Sunday,

A TV insider told the newspaper: “Ferne has been approached about taking part in the new series.”

They continued: “She loves the idea of doing it, so things are looking promising.

“Producers saw how gutsy Ferne was on 'I’m A Celebrity…' a few years ago, so they think she’d be perfect for the show.”

But Ferne isn’t the only famous face in the running to take on the gruelling challenge show, which will reportedly be filmed later this year.

Other names in the frame include fellow The Only Way is Essex star Pete Wicks, Love Island winner Amber Gill and Olympian Jade Jones.

This comes after SAS: Who Dares Wins unveiled their brand new instructor line-up, following the departure of long-running star Ant Middleton.

For the first time in the show’s history, returning stars Jason Fox, aka Foxy, and Mark Billingham, aka Billy, will be joined by two new US recruits.

The series’ brand new Chief Instructor, America’s Rudy Reyes, while former US Navy SEAL Remi Adeleke will complete the line-up.

Speaking about landing the big TV gig, Rudy, who has multiple military awards to his name, said: “To be part of SAS: Who Dares Wins – the hardest selection course on television – is one the greatest privileges of my life.”

The 50-year-old continued: “And to be named Chief Instructor is a huge honour made even more rewarding working alongside Billy, Foxy and Remi – heroes on and off screen.”

Rudy’s new teammate Remi agreed it was a big privilege to be part of the new line-up.

The 39-year-old explained: “Since I departed from the military in 2016 my main focus in life has been to inspire, motivate and educate people — whether through writing, speaking or visual storytelling.”

“Therefore I am very grateful to the SAS: Who Dares Wins team – especially my SOF brothers Billy, Foxy, and Rudy – for allowing me to be a part of this unique, inspirational and transformative experience.”
