Former 'RHOC' Star Meghan King Edmonds' Husband Denies Cheating

“This is someone trying to profit from my name,” the retired baseball player says.

Meghan King Edmonds’ husband, Jim Edmonds, has admitted he had a "lapse in judgement" following reports he sent explicit messages to another woman while his former "Real Housewives of Orange County" star wife was giving birth to their twins.

The retired baseball player denied any "physical contact" with the woman, in a statement to Us Weekly, and asserted the person in question was "someone trying to profit from my name."

"Regrettably, I had a lapse in judgment," he said. "I engaged in an inappropriate conversation with this person. At no time was there any type of relationship or physical contact. Absolutely none. This is someone trying to profit from my name. I am aware she has done this to others in the past."

"Clearly, I made a very poor decision to expose myself and my family to this type of person. For this, I am truly sorry and sought forgiveness from my wife," he continued. "I’m outraged over the intent to ruin my family and intend to take legal action. We were never having any problems in our marriage. My attorney is in possession of documents wherein this person has admitted fabricating large portions of her ‘story.’"

Jim, a current Fox Sports broadcaster, went on to reiterate that he "never had any sort of a physical relationship outside of my marriage with her or anyone else."

Earlier Thursday, said a "rock solid source close to the mistress" (who the publication referred to as "Jenn a.k.a ‘baseball madame’") claimed Jenn met the Cincinnati Reds alum nine years ago when he was married to his second wife, Allison Jayne Raski. Jim and Allison were married from 2008 to 2014 and share two kids. He has two older daughters with his first wife, Lee Ann Horton, who died in 2015 following a battle with cancer.

The source said Jim reconnected with Jenn in March 2018 while his current wife, Meghan, was pregnant with their now-1-year-old twin sons, Hart and Hayes. They also share 2-year-old daughter, Aspen.

"Jim sent Jenn a DM on Instagram in March [2018]," the source claimed. "She had not heard from him in years. Their friendship sparked again, and they started communicating on a regular basis. Their communications quickly turned from friendly to dirty texting."

"They went on a couple of dates and started having sex in May [2018]," the source continued. "They would meet up at hotels while he was on the road doing his broadcasting job. Jenn would fly into the city where Jim was working and stay with him." published screenshots of explicit text messages allegedly sent from Jim to Jenn, including a video of what appears to show his penis. The source called Jim a "freak" who would routinely send "dick pics and sexual videos exposing himself" to Jenn.

The source went on to say Jim even sent Jenn a video of himself masturbating on the same day his wife gave birth to their twins in June of last year. The publication claims to be in possession of a video of Jim masturbating. also published audio of a threatening voicemail they claim Meghan left Jenn when she found out about the alleged affair.

"Know this: Every single guy in the Major League Baseball you have slept with and that you have blackmailed, I am getting every ounce of it for the FBI," the person they claim is Meghan said. "Think about retracting that story, because I am telling you right now, you will be facing criminal charges for blackmailing. You will not (inaudible) him, and no one is going to (inaudible) anything that you say. Good luck with the police showing up. I hope they take your children. Try threatening my family again."

It’s unclear if the story being referred to in the audio is the one posted by

The publication also claims to have obtained a confidentiality non-disclosure agreement Jim allegedly sent to Jenn on December 12, 2018. In screenshots of the supposed NDA posted by, Jim agreed to pay Jenn $7,500 — half at the time the NDA was signed, and the other $3,750 by March 15, 2019. Jim also allegedly agreed to pay Jenn’s attorney’s fees incurred in the sum of $2,000.

TooFab has reached out to reps for Meghan.

The couple joined "The Real Housewives of Orange County" in Season 10, which aired in 2015. They departed the series after Season 12 in 2017.

Meghan’s first pregnancy was well-documented during Season 11. At the time, she said she felt Jim was "removed" from both her and the process.

In her July 25, 2016 Bravo blog, Meghan wrote, "I was really disappointed in Jimmy’s lack of sentiment throughout my IVF process. And honestly, there were moments I was questioning if getting pregnant was even the right choice. Now that I am pregnant, he is so happy and excited for our baby girl to come, but at the same time, I still think he’s removed."

"He’s more excited about decorating the nursery and buying a stroller: things that are needed for a real-life baby, not one in utero," she continued. "He just isn’t going through the hormones and emotions like I have been, and I know as soon as our baby girl arrives, he’ll fall in love and be just as excited as I am. Maybe it’s like our new puppy, Girly Girl. He didn’t want her at all! Now that we have her, though, he dotes on her more than me and even wants to wake up for the middle of the night potty breaks!"

In October 2018, Meghan hinted at marital problems, explaining in a blog post that she and Jim were on vacation because "our marriage needs it." She said they had "become complacent in our lives and have taken each other for granted… We need shining and buffing. We need US back…and the sad part is that we never even realized ‘we’ were missing."
